OBITUARY - OCLE FLORINE (STATON) LAMB

GRANT CITY, Mo. - Ocle Florine (STATON) LAMB, 92, Grant City, died Friday, March 29, 1996, at a health care center in Grant City.

Mrs. Lamb had been a nurse's attendant at the State Hospital in Clarinda, Iowa.

Born in Redding, Iowa, on Aug. 3, 1903, she had resided in Grant City since 1991. She graduated from the Redding high school and was a member of the Jackson Christian Advent in Allendale, Mo.

On October 19, 1923, she married Glee Lamb in Grand City. He survives at the same center in Grant City.

Mrs. Lamb was preceded in death by a son, Jerry; two daughters, Marjorie Plumb and Lloyt Bressler; a brother, William Staton; and two great-grandchildren.

Surviving; four sons, Rex, Maryville, Mo., Garland, Omaha, Neb., Robert, Elliott, Iowa, and Nathan, Red Oak, Iowa; four daughters, Dorothy Rush, St. Joseph, Retha Moutray, Kansas City, Roberta Farmer, Clarinda, and Martha Andrews, Clear Lake, Iowa; 41 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-granchildren.

Service: 2 p.m. Sunday, Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home, Grant City. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Iowa. Visitation: after 8 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.
