OBITUARY - E. GLEE LAMB

1902 - 1996

GRANT CITY, Mo. - Edgar Glee Lamb, 94, Grant City, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 1996, at a St. Joseph hospital.

Mr. Lamb had ben employed as a nurse's attendant at the State Hospital in Clarinda, Iowa, for 30 years.

Born in Worth County, Mo., on July 21, 1902, he had been a resident of Grant City since 1991. He was a member of the Jackson Christian Advent, Allendale.

On Oct. 19, 1923, he married Ocle F. Lamb in Grant City. She died in March of 1996.

Mr. Lamb also was preceded in death by two daughters, Marjorie Plumb and Lloydt Dunkeson; a son Jerry; his parents, Nathan and Martha; a brother, Charles D.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Surviving: four sons, Rex, Maryville, MO, Garland, Omaha Neb., Robert, Elliott, Iowa, and Nathan, Red Pak (sic, should be Oak), Iowa; four daughters, Dorothy Rush, St. Joseph, Retha Moutray, Kansas City, Roberta Farmer, Clarinda, and Martha Andrews, Clear Lake, Iowa; 41 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home, Grant City.

Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Iowa. Family visitation: 6 to 8 tonight and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
