Wife of Pioneer Clarinda Doctor
Died at Home This MondayFuneral services will be held at the home here Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 for Mrs. D. W. (sic, Daniel Harrison] KILLINGSWORTH, 81, wife of Dr. KILLINGSWORTH, pioneer Clarinda physician, who died this Monday morning at 1:15 following an illness of a week during which she suffered a heart ailment. Rev. Henry O. LIETMAN will be in charge of the services, burial planned in Clarinda cemetery.
Mrs. [Clara E. (STRANAHAN)] KILLINGSWORTH was born [July of 1861] at Mt. Ayr [the daughter of John and Eliza Jane (CHAMBERS) STRANAHAN], but for the past 45 years had made her home in Clarinda. She had been seriously ill for the past week.
Surviving are her husband and a daughter, Blanche, both of Clarinda, in addition to two brothers, W. E. STRANAHAN of Johnston, Colo., and a sister, Anna McCALLUM, of Baker, Oregon.
