Myrtle B. SEVIER was born to Nelson and Martha Jane HENDERSON April 13, 1892 in Canton, Illinois, and passed away November 26, 1985 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr, Iowa.
Myrtle married Eugene SEVIER January 25, 1912 at Creston, Iowa. To this union three children were born, Delbert and Donald of Mount Ayr and Juanita LAIRD of Beaconsfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene; sons, Delber and wife Daivey DEAN and Doland and wife, Juanita; daughter, Juanita LAIRD and husband, Kenneth; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Julia HENDERSON.
She enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She was happy when caring for her home and her garden.
Services were held from the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home at Mount Ayr, Iowa, on November 29, 1985, conducted by Rev. Merlin WILKINS. Music was provided by Mildred SMITH, Mary TRULLINGER and Margaret BICKERS.
Casketbearers were Denzel YOUNG, Dale WALTERS, Norman BAUER, Raymond WHITSON, Morris CARPENTER and Charles VerHUEL. Burial was in Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton, Iowa.
