July 25, 1985OBITUARY ~ HAZEL L. (STRAIGHT) SALTZMAN
Word has been received here [Mount Ayr] of the death of Hazel L. SALTZMAN, 90, of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, and a former Mount Ayr resident. Funeral services were held in Cedar Falls and burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo.
She was born near Emerson, daughter of Eli and Emma DAVIS STRAIGHT. She was married to Earl G. SALTZMAN Feb. 18, 1914, in Mount Ayr. He preceded her in death in 1973.
Survivors include two sons; six daughters; 19 grandchildren; 43 great-grandschildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
