OBITUARY ~ ANNA MAE (NORRIS) KEAST

Anna Mae KEAST, age 70 of Apache Junction, AZ passed away on February 13, 2009, after a long and courageous struggle with her illness.

Anna Mae was born on September 22, 1938 in Ringgold County, Iowa to Lyle and Maxine (WHITE) NORRIS. Anna Mae was strong, elegant, graceful, and caring. She loved music, was a member of her church choir and a strong supporter of her church. She loved helping feed the homeless. Anna Mae spent her early years in Elliott, Iowa and later in Audubon, Iowa, moving to Arizona in 1995.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 52 years, Darrell KEAST, daughter, Laurie and Dean JORGENSEN of Broomfield, Colorado, son Craig and Kristi (BAIER) KEAST of Mount Vernon, Iowa, and daughter Jodi and David RECKER of Lancaster, Wisconsin, grandchildren, Andria and Joshua REDMAN, Jenny and Brian MEREDITH, Aaron KEAST, Eliza and David EASKER, Gabriel KEAST, Jordan RECKER and Joseph RECKER, great-grandchildren, Caleb and Parker MEREDITH, her parents Lyle and Maxine NORRIS formerly of Elliott, Iowa, sister Janet THURMAN-GINTHER and family, brother Frank NORRIS and family, including many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her beautiful smile and open affection will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 2:00pm at the United Methodist Church in Elliott, Iowa.
