RITES HERE FRIDAY FOR LEO CONLEY

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Varner and Crew Funeral Home for Leo CONLEY, 75, whose death occurred Tuesday evening [December 14, 1965] at Ringgold County Hospital, Mt. Ayr, Iowa.

Mr. CONLEY was a longtime resident of this community. The son of the late Mr. And Mrs. George CONLEY. He is survived by two sons Johnny and Gene and eleven grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother Lester of Newton, Iowa, and a sister Mrs. Andrew WHITED of Creston, Iowa. He was preceded in death by a son Lyle Chester CONLEY.

Rev. George McMULLEN was in charge of the services. Mrs. Laverne KLAJCK was soloist and Mrs. Harold TAYLOR pianist. Casket bearers were Iva INGRAHM, Joe BATES, Stanley AVERHOLSEN, Joy SNYDER, Leo CARSON and Victor TOMAN. Burial was in Knowlton [Centenary] Cemetery.
