OBITUARY - EARL THURMAN.

Phineas Earl THURMAN, son of J. and Alice Thurman, was born at Parnell, Mo., May 24, 1902, and departed this life September 5, 1927, aged 25 years, three months and 19 days. He was married to Miss Ruth SANDERS December 18, 1920. He was converted and baptized in 1917 in the Methodist church at Middle Fork and always lived a good honest life, and it was while at his work that this fatal accident occurred. He leaves his father and mother, his wife and four small children, Chester Leroy aged five, Donald Dale, three; Dorotha May, aged two and Betty Jean, two months; three sisters, one brother, Roy, of Glasgo, Mont.; Elsie FULLERTON, of Kansas City,; Birdie GLENDENNING of Mount Ayr; Lola STUART, of Kansas City, and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. BROWN, aunt and uncle, many friends and relatives.

Earl was always of a happy, quiet disposition and a loving, kind and devoted to his family.

Funeral was held from the M. E. church at Mount Ayr September 11, 1927, conducted by Rev. KIRKENDALL. The body was laid to rest in Rose Hill cemetery.
