OBITUARY - HELEN GRIMM THOMAS

Helen GRIMM THOMAS, daughter of George and Anna GRIMM, was born on a farm near Grand River, Iowa, December 12, 1908, and died October 4, 1986 in the hospital at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her wish was to be cremated.

She attended the Foland School near Grand River. She was united in marriage October 16, 1926 to Creston GILREATH of Diagonal, Iowa. To this union one daughter, Jacqueline, was born. They separated later and Helen married Bruce THOMAS. To this union was born one son, Steven.

Surviving are her husband, Bruce; daughter Jacqueline GILRETH; son Steve; two brothers: Wayne GRIMM of Linden, Iowa and Earl GRIMM of Slater, Iowa; three sisters: Blanche COON of Murray, Iowa, Ruby KELLY of Clarinda, Iowa, and Inez CREES of Grand River, Iowa.
