OBITUARY - RICHARD "DICK" TEPLY

Richard "Dick" TEPLY, 68, of Diagonal, formerly of Creston, died December 24, 2005, at his home.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, at the United Church of Diagonal. The Rev. John BERAN will officiate the service. Burial will be in Bohemian Cemetery near Diagonal. There is open visitation after 2 p.m. today with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home in Diagonal. Memorials may be directed to Diagonal Development Corporation.

Mr. TEPLY, son of Dorothy I. (WATTS) and Adolph A. TEPLY, was born September 23, 1937, near Mount Ayr. He graduated from Diagonal High School in 1955. On June 17, 1954, he married Marlene KESSLER in Diagonal. He was a police officer for Creston Police Department. He was a member of the United Church of Diagonal.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene TEPLY, son Larry (wife Pat) TEPLY and daughter Cindy (husband Rick) WOLF, all of Diagonal; three grandchildren, BreAnne (husband Andy) MELODY of Lake City and Trevor WOLF and Whitney WOLF, both of Diagonal; sister Donna (husband Keith) MAIN of Des Moines; and sister-in-law Sue (husband Bob) BEEMER of Laramie, Wyo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and father- and mother-in-law Buck and Louise KESSLER.
