OBITUARY - CORRINE ANN (STIRN) TANNAHILL

Corrine Ann (STIRN) TANNAHILL, of Spring City, died Friday, June 25, 2004, after a three-month bout with cancer.

She was born Corrine Anna STIRM, September 11, 1935, on a farm in Tescott, Kansas, the daughter of the late Leonard C. and Doris (KING) STIRN. She recognized her need for a Savior as a child and committed her life to Jesus Christ. She served her Lord for 44 years at Cedine Bible Mission as camp and conference registrar. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Grandview. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed laughter and loved making everyone who came to visit feel at home. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Krista Marie JOHNSON, and a sister, Rosa (STIRN) BRAUER.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Rev. Howard TANNAHILL, Spring City; son, Rev. Vernon and Martha TANNAHILL, Spring City; daughters, Vivian and Rev. Rob JOHNSON, Salina, Kan., Valerie and Rev. Brent HARWERTH, Ainsworth, Neb., Vera and Thomas STALCUP, Tingley, Iowa; 20 grandchildren, Carl and Carrie TANNAHILL, Lakewood, Col., Rachel, Rebekah and Daniel TANNAHILL, Spring City, Gracia, Victoria, Jacob, Laura and Isaiah JOHNSON, Salina, Kan., Nathaniel, Stephen, Paul, Luke and Charissa HARWERTH, Ainsworth, Neb., Kimberly, Andrew, Jennifer, Jason, Vanessa and Tabitha STALCUP, Tingley, La.; great-grandson, Zachary TANNAHILL, Lakewood, Col.; sister, Joan YORDY, Manhattan, Kan.; brother, Vance STIRN, Tescott, Kan.

Services were held Monday, June 28, 2004, at the Jubilee Center of Cedine Bible Mission, the Revs. Stephen ZIMMERMAN and James UPTON officiating. Burial was in Cedine Cemetery, followed by a white dove release.

Vanderwal Funeral Home in Dayton was in charge of the arrangements.
