OBITUARY - ELIZABETH (sic) SWIGART.

Edith SWIGART, adopted daughter of Roy and Jennie SWIGART, was born March 19, 1908, and died October 22, 1926, aged 18 years, seven months and three days.

Edith was a good, kind and obiedient daughter and will be sadly missed in the home, church and community. Two years ago in the revival meeting at Ringgold church she was converted and gave her life and all to Christ. A few days after she united with the church and remained a faithful member till death.

She never failed when an opportunity was given to stand and give in her testimony and she prayed much with her Savior. Her faithful attendance at the church and smiling face will be missed.

She leaves to mourn her departure father, mother, one adopted sister, Elaine, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman McANINCH and Grandpa SWIGART, and a host of friends and neighbors.

"Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe from corroding care,
Safe from the world's temptation,
Sin cannot harm her there.
Free from the blight of sorrow,
Free from her doubts and fears.
Only a few more trials, only a few more tears.
Hark! 'tis the voice of angels,
Borne in a song to me.
Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on his gentle breast.
Thereby his love 'er shaded,
Sweetly her soul shall rest."

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Ringgold church by G. W. CRAMER, her pastor, and interment was made in the Ringgold cemetery.
