OBITUARY - DOUGLAS LYNN SWIGART

Douglas Lynn SWIGART, 43, of Holiday, Fla., formerly of Des Moines, died June 25, 2005 at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital in Tarpon Springs, Fla.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Matthew NOVOTNY will officiate. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr. The body was cremated. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Mr. SWIGART, son of Sharon (REYNOLDS) and Dennis SWIGART, was born January 11, 1962, in Des Moines. He worked for Meredith Corp. and 3-E in Des Moines and worked in auto sales in Florida.

Survivors include four sons, Justin and Blake SWIGART of Des Moines, and Austin and Jesse SWIGART of Grimes; fiancee Sharon RUTH of Holiday, Fla.; parents Dennis and Sharon SWIGART of Des Moines; brother Darvin (wife Deane) SWIGART of Lawrenceville, Ga.; sister Shellie (husband Gary) BROWN of Des Moines; and grandmother Waitstill REYNOLDS of Mount Ayr.
