OBITUARY - LULA V. (GRINDSTAFF) STUCK

Lula V. STUCK, 93, of Mount Ayr died October 11, 2006, at Mount Ayr Health Care Center.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 14 at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Butch BLACK and the Rev. John BRILLO will officiate the service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr. Open visitation will be after 10 a.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday until service time at the funeral home in Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to Mount Ayr Assembly of God Church, Hospice of Central Iowa, Mount Ayr Health Care Center and Clearview Estates.

Lula STUCK, daughter of Etta May (GATES) and Jacob E. GRINDSTAFF, was born April 11, 1913, in Lotts Creek Township, Ringgold County. On July 3, 1929, Lula married Jonathan M. STUCK in Kellerton. She worked as a cook at Ringgold County Hospital. She was a member of Mount Ayr Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia (husband Henry) CAMPUZANO of Bend, Ore., and Barbara (husband Harold) BOWERS of Mount Ayr; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Lula was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, William, Aubra and Kenneth GRINDSTAFF; three sisters, Maude CAMPBELL, Waneta WHEELER and Ruby WHEELER; great-grandson Richard CAMPUZANO; and granddaughter-in-law Anna CAMPUZANO.
