Nellie STEWART, 98, of Mount Ayr died August 9, 2006, at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr. Services are pending at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr.

OBITUARY - NELLIE (HACKER) STEWART

Nellie STEWART, 98, of Mount Ayr died August 9, 2006, at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 12, in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr. The Rev. Susan THOMAS will officiate the service. There is open viewing today at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to Mount Ayr Public Library.

Nellie STEWART, daughter of Nancy M. (HOPKINS) and James Henry HACKER, was born April 19, 1908, in Worth County, Mo. On January 20, 1929, Nellie married Robert L. STEWART. She was a teacher.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Esta BUTLER and Vesta LAMB.
