OBITUARY.

Donald Leo STANLEY, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. STANLEY, was born July 7, 1926, and passed away at his home February 15, 1933, aged six years, seven months and nine days. His going made many sad hearts for he was loved by all who knew him.

He leaves to mourn his going four brothers and two sisters and father and mother.

Burial was made at 11 a.m. Friday in the Shay cemetery [Platte River Cemetery near Maloy, Ringgold County, Iowa].

We desire to express our appreciation to the many friends and neighbors for the kind deeds done for us during the illness and death of our beloved son and brother. We are grateful for the lovely floral offering. Again we thank you.

NOTE: James T. STANLEY was born in 1882, and died in 1963. His wife Rosa E. (?) STANLEY was born in 1889, and died in 1982. James E. STANLEY was born in 1924, and died in 2000. They were interred at Platte River (a.k.a. Shay) Cemetery near Maloy, Ringgold County, Iowa.
