OBITUARY.

Died, at his sister's, Mrs. A. D. SWARTWOOD, in Grant township, Fred W. Nash, son of Aaron and Mary E. Nash. Fred was born in Jones Co., Iowa, Oct. 29th, 1867; died Friday, Feb. 17th, 1882. He had been living with his sister, since his mother's death. He was an exemplary boy; was never known to be angry or disobedient to those he lived with; was loved by all who knew him. He had acquired quite a knowledge of instrumental music, was a good scholar at his last examination just before he was taken sick, standing 99, never absent nor tardy from his class, a regular attendant at the Sabbath school, and, in fact from his earliest childhood, had manifested a Christian character. [Interment was at Oak Ridge Cemetery near Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa.
