OBITUARY - THOMAS MOSIER.

Thomas MOSIER, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac MOSIER, was born in Ringgold county, Iowa, October 11, 1870.

He went to South Dakota when a young man, where he lived on a homestead until a short time ago when his health failed, and he came back home for the remaining few days of his life.

He was a man of the highest ideals and while he was not a member of the church, yet he believed in the church and supported it. He was a strong believer in prohibition and thought the 18th amendment ought to be enforced.

He favored everything which would tend to make a man a better citizen, and commanded the respect of his neighbors and friends. He was always thinking of the welfare of others, rather than himself.

He quietly passed away Wednesday, January 21, 1931, aged 60 years, three months and ten days.

He leaves to mourn his passing his aged father, five brothers, two sisters and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services conducted Friday, January 23, at the home of his brother, Sim MOSIER, by Rev. C. J. HAMILTON, pastor of the First Baptist church of Mount Ayr, after which the body was laid to rest in the Oakland cemetery to await the resurrection.

CARD OF THANKS.

We wish to express our thanks and appreciations to the neighbors and friends for the many deeds of kindness and words of sympathy during the illness and death of our son and brother. - ISAAC MOSIER AND CHILDREN.

NOTE: Thomas' father, Isaac MOSIER, was born June 7, 1842, and died March 18, 1937 with interment at Oakland Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa.
