OBITUARY - MRS. LYDIA MOORE.

Mrs. Lydia MOORE was born at Janesville, Ohio, October 17, 1843, and died in Des Moines, March 1, 1923, being seventy-nine years, four months and fifteen days old at the time of her death. She was married March, 1863, at Farmington, Ill., to Joseph WHITE and moved to Iowa forty-four years ago. Three children were born to them - B. F. WHITE and A. W. WHITE, both of Kansas City, and Anna M. STALKER, now deceased. After Mr. WHITE's death she was married to General Sanford MOORE at Mount Ayr, July 1902. Mr. MOORE died January 19, 1914. She is survived by the two sons, eight grand children and four great grand children. The body was brought to Mount Ayr Saturday evening and the funeral service was conducted at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and interment in Rose Hill cemetery [Mount Ayr].
