OBITUARY.

Emma BALDWIN was born in New Sharon, Maine, Feb. 13th, 1823, and died peacefully the morning of Feb. 14th, 1892, at the home of her brother, Mr. C. S. BALDWIN, in Mt. Ayr, Iowa. She was married to A. MOOAR in 1860, and moved to Odell, Ill. In 1873 she moved to Topeka, Kan. Five years ago she came to Mt. Ayr, and has since made her home with her brothers, Jotham and S. C. BALDWIN. For ten years she has been an invalid, and the last five years, has been almost entirely helpless; yet through it all, has been patient and uncomplaining. She was converted when about sixteen years of age, and united with the M. E. church. A sufferer for so many years here, what must be her delight in the fairer realm to which she has gone. The funeral services were held from the home of her brother Mr. C. S. BALDWIN, Tuesday, Feb. 16th, and were conducted by Rev. Wm. B. THOMPSON, assisted by Rev. E. R. RIGGS.
