DEATH of LEO G. MILLER.

The citizens of Mt. Ayr were startled Sunday afternoon with the announcement of the sudden death of Attorney [Leonidas] Leo G. MILLER at his home in this city. He had been transacting business Saturday in Beaconsfield and drove home late at night. He ate a lunch before retiring, and rose from his slumbers about 8 o'clock Sunday morning. He was then taken violently sick with stomach trouble causing vomiting which lasted until nearly 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Having experienced such attacks before, Mr. MILLER would allow no physician to be called, thinking that he would soon recover. Later, when some of the neighbors were called in it was not thought necesary to call a physician. About 3:30 Mrs. MILLER became alarmed and a messenger was sent for Dr. BAILEY, who quickly responded. It was too late however, and shortly after his arrival, Mr. MILLER expired.

Deceased was born in Mt. Ayr November 17, 1860, and had been a continuous resident since. Mr. MILLER studied for the profession of law and was admitted to practice of 1881. He was a well informed, studious man, kind hearted to all, especially to his widowed mother whom he cared for.

The funeral services were conducted from the home yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. H. P. DUDLEY. The interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.
