NOTICE of DEATH.

--There was quite a melancholy suicide five miles north-west of Goshen last Monday evening. Mrs. Josephine MILLER, wife of Calvin C. MILLER, without any warning or previous indication, took a small rope and hanged herself in the barn, and when discovered by her husband, was dead. She was quite a comely looking woman, only 24 years old, well fixed in life, and lived happily with her husband. She had been out in the field during the day, sitting around where her husband was at work. She had some crocheting along, at which she worked, and chatted with him as pleasantly as usual. Towards evening she went to the house, and he saw her no more alive. She had complained some of her head, and was afflicted with a chronic female trouble, and it is supposed that she took her life while laboring under a temporary fit of insanity. Coroner BAILEY was called, who summoned a jury, and a verdict was found in accordance with the above facts. She had no children.
