OBITUARY.

Rowena Marie MILLARD, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy MILLARD, was born near Kellerton, Iowa, April 29, 1920, and departed this life at the home of her parents in Tingley, April 9, 1923, aged two years, eleven months and ten days. This is a brief sketch of her life, yet how much a place she had here can be only told by the heartbroken parents and friends left to mourn. The funeral services were held at the home at ten o'clock Wednesday forenoon by Rev. C. W. PEER and the little body was taken to Kellerton to be laid away [Maple Row Cemetery]. Those of us who have lost and (sic) loved one can indeed sympathize with the mourning ones. The music was furnished by a quartet of young ladies of the Tingley high school.

Little Rowena is happy with Jesus and the children in heaven.

NOTE: Roy F. MILLARD, Rowena's father, was born in 1898 and died in 1962. Rowena's mother, Mary E., was born in 1902.
