OBITUARY - Mrs. N. H. MICHAEL.

Beulah Pearl MARSHALL, the daughter of John D. and Mary Ellen MARSHALL, was born in Ringgold county near Benton September 2, 1878, and departed this life March 30, 1927, at the age of 48 years, four months and 28 days.

She had been in failing health for the past few years, but born her pain and suffering quietly, always sacrificing for others.

She united with the Methodist church when a young woman and has always been a faithful follower of the Master, always using her influence for His cause.

On December 26, 1927, she was united in marriage to Nimrod MICHAEL. To this union were born two children, Earl Marshall and Earnest Paul.

She was a trustworthy and loving wife and a kind, patient mother. She was a confidental (sic) friend and neighbor to all who knew her.

She leaves to mourn her death her faithful husband, two sons, Earl of Benton and Paul E. of Kansas City, Mo., one deal little granddaughter, Dorothy Ann, her father, John D. MARSHALL, of Benton. Her mother preceded her in death about thirty years ago. Her two sisters, Mrs. Lena HAWORTH of Monroe, Oregon, and Mrs. Fay WEST of Benton, who is very ill at this time; one nephew and two nieces and a host of relatives and friends.

Thy fond and earnest care,
Our home is dark without thee.
We miss thee everywhere."

NOTE: Beulah Pearl (MARSHALL) MICHAEL was interred at Benton Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa. Buelah's husband, Nimrod H. MICHAEL, also interred at Benton Cemetery, was born on February 13, 1871, and died November 15, 1955. Beulah's mother Mrs. John D. MARSHALL's obituary is included in the Ringgold County, Iowa obituary files.
