OBITUARY - RICHARD FRANCIS MEADOWS.

Richard Francis MEADOWS, son of Jamie [Francis] and Rotha [E. (MOSBARGER)] MEADOWS, was born Friday, July 11th [1930], and passed away Monday, July 14th [1930], aged three days. He leaves his heartbroken parents, grandparents and many friends. Though he was permitted to stay on earth such a short time, he will be sadly missed.

I have seen the face of God
I have seen his form
In the majesty of the mountains,
In the grandeur of the storm:
In the glory of the autumn,
In each spring's returning grace,
In a baby's eyes of azure,
I have seen his face.
Richard Francis MEADOWS was born and died at Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa. He was interred at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton.

NOTE: Rotha E. (MOSBARGER) MEADOWS, Richard's mother, was born on March 11, 1904, the daughter of William Henry and Faresta (NOBLE) and MOSBARGER. She married Jamie Francis MEADOWS (1903-?) in Kellerton on June 5, 1929. Rotha died on July 3, 1981 and was interred at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Iowa.
