OBITUARY - GEORGE McGAUGHEY.

George McGAUGHEY was born in the year 1851 at Russelville, Indiana, and passed away at his home in Kellerton, Iowa, May 7, 1928, at 6:00 o'clock p. m., age 76 years, six months and 12 days.

He was married in the year 1891 to Miss Ada BRAYNT, of Tuskeego. To this union were born seven children ; two having preceded him to the better land, Edna, age three, and an infant. Those left to mourn his loss are his wife and five children - Mrs. Ethel TURPIN, of Kellerton; Lennie McGAUGHEY, of Kansas City; Freddie McGAUGHEY, of Kansas City; Noah McGAUGHEY, of Spokane, Wash.; Miss Vera McGAUGHEY, of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers and one sister, Harvey McGAUGHEY, of Judson, Ind.; Eldorado McGAUGHEY, of Colo. Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Neatie (?) NORMAN, of Russelville, Ind.; three grandchildren, Gelnn and Hazel TURPIN, of Kellerton, and Martha Jean McGAUGHEY, of Kansas City; also many other relatives and friends.

He was converted in the year 1903 in a church of God revival at Highland school house. He was a firm believer, in devine healing and kept his faith in the Lord till the end. His last testimony was that he was trusting in the Lord.

Dear father, in your going,
You have left a vacant chair;
You have left a place no one else can fill,
You have left our hearts sad and lonely,
You have left against our will.
Funeral services were held from the home Thursday at 2:30 p. m. and burial made in the Lilly (?) cemetery.
