OBITUARY - MRS. ISAAC MARSHALL.

Mary E. MUSTAIN was born January 20, 1845, at Laru, Ohio, and passed away on the night of September 3, 1926, aged 80 years, seven months and 18 days. She was united in marriage to Thompson PRICE November 20, 1861. To this union were born eight children - Mrs. L. J. COLE, of Redding; Mrs. J. M. HOLLINGSHEAD, of Empora, Kan.; F. A. PRICE, of Buffalo, N. D.; Mrs. Alice EATON, of Oaks, N. D.; Mrs. H. F. STUART, of Mount Ayr; Mrs. W. L. PRATT, of Oaks, N.D.; D. L. PRICE, of Oaks, N.D.; and one daughter, Mrs. C. W. SMITH, who preceded her in death September 4, 1924.

She was left a widow with these eight children by the death of her first husband on July 4, 1899. On April 5, 1904, she was married to Isaac MARSHALL who proved to be a blessed husband and a kind father to her children.

This aged husband, seven children, twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren together with many other relatives and friends are left to mourn the loss of a kind, faithful and loving companion.

Twenty-two years ago she united with the Advent Christian church of Hickory Grove and has been a faithful consistant member ever since.

Though her many years of affliction together with the infirmity of old age she has been possessed by a spirit of patience, gentleness and cheerfulness that made her life a blessing to all.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Clifford JACKSON, assisted by Rev. E. L. CASTER, of Villisca, Iowa, at Hickory Grove church where a large crowd had gathered to pay their last respects until that great day when our Lord shall come and the earth shall cast out her dead. [Interment was at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa.]

"Dearest mother, you have left us,
And our hearts are sad tonight,
Oh, that we again could see you;
All our dreams would be so bright.
Mother, dearest, you have left us,
And with thee all our joys have fled,
Oh, it's hard to think our mother
So good and kind and true is dead.
Oh, what a christian example she led us,
So may loving words of kindness
To husband, children and friends she said:
Oh, how sad but, dearest mother is dead."
