OBITUARY - EDWARD MARLER.

Edward MARLER was born near Albia, Iowa, on July 28, 1872, and died while cutting corn on a farm near Redding Tuesday, September 8, 1931, at the age of 59 years, one month and 11 days. Mr. Marler made his home at the Commerical hotel in Redding.

He is survived by two brothers, Joseph of Tingley and Roy of Grant City, Mo.; and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas WOOLARD of Phelps, Mo., and Mrs. Bert RINEHART of Grant City, Mo.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Redding Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. W. Harold SMITH, pastor of the Mount Ayr Church of Christ, and interment made in cemetery south of Redding [Fairview Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa]. Edward's brother, Joseph A. MARLER, was born in 1877, and died in 1942 with interment at Tingley Cemetery, Tingley, Iowa.
