OBITUARY - JOHN MANNING

John MANNING was born August 13, 1851, in Wayne County, Indiana, and died February 27, 1907, in Kellerton, Iowa, aged 55 years, 6 months and 14 days. He came to Decatur County, Iowa with his parents in 1854 where he grew to manhood and married to Arvilla J. FULTON, January 10, 1875. To this union were born four sons: Charley, Frank, Albert and John. John [Jr.] died February 15, l903, and the mother, October 23, 1890.

Mr. MANNING was married to Flora CAMP, December 19, 1893. One son, Harry, was born to this union.

Mr. MANNING located on a farm in Ringgold County in 1891 and by industry he prospered and was considered one of the best stock men in Ringgold or Decatur County. He moved to Kellerton in 1902 where he made his home. His last illness was only of eleven days' duration. He expressed a willingness to meet his God.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. L. M. KOB, of Garden Grove, assisted by Rev. S. E. BROWN. Interment was made in the Kellerton Cemetery.
