OBITUARY - JESSE WAYNE LEEPER.

Jesse Wayne LEEPER, better known to his friends and loved ones as "Little Bussie" was born on January 23, 1919, and died March 6, 1923. His life was but a brief one of about four years but during that time he was the light and life of the home. There was about him a sunny disposition and a lovableness that won the hearts of all the friends and neighbors. He was not old enough to have tasted life's sorrows, yet was able through his winsome disposition to impart much of joy to his parents. There remain to sorrow at his departure his father, mother, two sisters, Lola and Velma. Funeral services were conducted at the Ringgold Chapel and the remains were interred in the Ringgold cemetery. Rev. R. W. SETTLE, pastor of the Baptist church at Mount Ayr, conducted the services.

Beautiful things lie hidden under the snow;
Tulips and daffodils sleeping,
Myrtles with broad leaves creeping,
And blue eyed forget-me-nots peeping
Under the snow.
Beautiful things lie hidden under the snow;
The crocus and dear little daisies,
The arbutus, in wonderful maizes,
Its sweet scented flow'rets upraises
Under the snow.

Our dear ones in death's cold embrace lie,
Under the snow.
The angels, their kind watch are keeping
O'er our beautiful treasure safe sleeping
Under the snow.
