OBITUARY.

LEE - Sarah Francis WOODS was a native of Morgan county, Ohio; was born April 23, 1861. She came with her parents to Ringgold county in 1873 and in 1884 was united in marriage to W. S. T. LEE, Feb 7th. In February, 1881 she joined the M. E. church.

She died in great peace at her home near Diagonal July 15, 1891, aged 30 years, 2 months and 22 days. The cause of her death was consumption. Mrs. LEE was a quiet, amiable, and kind hearted woman and highly esteemed by all. She was in feeble health for some years, bore her illness with great patience, passed quietly away like a fading falling leaf, and we are glad to say fully prepared to enter the rest of the better land. Her husband, two children, parents, one sister and four brothers survive and deeply mourn her loss. Earth has lost; Heaven is richer.

Her funeral which was largely attended took place from the home and after the usual services the body was taken to the cemetery at Clearfield for interment. May the Eternal God be the refuge of the stricken husband and motherless children.
