NANCY BUSWELL, 90,
LIFETIME RESIDENT,
DIES SATURDAY

Mrs. Nancy Jane Buswell, 90, of Grinnell, widow of James Buswell, died suddenly Saturday evening at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Newell E. Davis, minister of the First Congregational church, officiating. Organ music will be provided by Mrs. Kathleen Heffner.

Pallbearers will be Homer Lowrey, Carl Child, Hugh Meacham, Ed Speth, Orrie Haag and Orville Jenkins. Burial will be in Hazelwood cemetery.

She was the daughter of Bartholomew and Sarah J. Favor Jenkins and was born on Mar. 15th, 1875, in Grinnell. She attended the Grinnell schools and graduated from Grinnell high school.

On June 5th, 1912, she was married to James Buswell in Marshalltown. They made their home in Grinnell and Mr. Buswell preceded her in death on Mar. 18th, 1955.

She was a 50 year member of Rebekah Lodge No. 119 in Grinnell.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, James; and eight brothers and sisters, Joe Jenkins, Mrs. William (Mattie) Barnes, Mrs. George (Elizabeth) Lewis, Mrs. Will (Nellie) Wesco, Mrs. Charles (Emma) Buswell, Thomas Jenkins, and twins who died in infancy.

Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.
