BESSIE REED SERVICES HELD

Bessie Hughes Reed, 85, of Trenton, N.J., formerly of Grinnell, died Friday, Aug. 10.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, with burial at Trenton.

She was born Dec. 15, 1893, and lived in the Grinnell area, graduating from Grinnell High School. She was married to John T. Reed, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Reed is survived by four daughters, Mildred Reed, Mrs. Clifford (Helen) Archer, Mrs. Alice Whittaker, and Mrs. Edward (Betty) Belinsky, and one son, Gerald.
