My name is Lloyd Wesley Spevack, son of Vernon James Spevack. My grandfather’s name was James Vernon Spevack. James Spevack had a brother by the name of Albert Ross Spevack, and a sister by the name of Olive Marie Spevack.

My great grandfathers name was James Spevack and he emigrated from Bohemia and finally relocated to Carbondale, Iowa where he was killed in a coal mining accident. Carbondale is located approximately 10 miles east of Des Moines, IA.

That being said, I believe I may be able to help fill in some of the blanks. I do know that James Spevacks’ last name was spelled Spevacek when he arrived to America.
