Daughter Rachel Minerva or Minerva HIGBY or HIGBEE GRISBY SWIGERT. Nancy's second husband Sam J. MEADER. Nancy listed on 1870 census Elkhart Township, Polk County living with her father J. MATHEWS Nancy age 33. Nancy listed on 1880 census Douglas township, Polk County with husband S. J. MEADER daughter Minerva HIGBY age 18 and adopted son John HIGBY b. Prussia age 10.
