Great Great Grandfather

I am looking for any information concerning my GGGrandfather, Eliada Beach (not to be confused with his granddaughter Eliada/Eliaia R(Rebecca)

He was said to have been shot and killed in or around Des Moines in 1870. Although the family manual says he lived in Bloomfield, it also said he was buried somewhere in polk county.

Any any help would be so wonderful--I have found ALL the other relations: His Father, David Beach

MOther: Mary Peck Beach
Brothers: Oliver, Calvin, Bernice Phineas, Dr. David, Elizur--two half sisters; Hannah and Rhoda

His name is listed on family census and Beach Family History--but I cannot locate any news article on his killing or a gravestone.
