A possibility is: William Edward Anderson
September 19, 1936 -- August 12, 1988

His obituary is indexed in the Des Moines Register
on August 17, 1988, Metro Section, page 3, column 2;

He is buried in Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines;
Block: 30; Section: A; Lot: 57

He appears to be the son of Robert Anderson and Julia (Murphy) Anderson; Although he died in 1988 and not between 2000 - 2010, he has the same name including the middle name and was born in 1936 which would make him 78 if he were living today. Although the obituary is not online, with the above reference, it should not be difficult to obtain from the Des Moines Public Library.
