Mavis was living with her daughter and son-in-law in Colorado at the time of the 1940 census, and she is buried in Colorado:

Her husband is also listed on that tombstone even though the Iowa cemetery index indicates that he was buried in the Decatur cemetery, so I'm not sure if he is actually buried in Iowa or if he is buried in Colorado with his wife.
