Does anyone know if obituaries are available (on-line or for a copy fee) for people who died a long time ago?

I would love to find out if an obituary exists for my ggg-grandpa. Abraham Snodgrass died 4 June 1863 in Polk Co. He's buried in the Lawson/Kinsey Cemetery. (His name has been butchered in the census records - Abriam, Abram, etc. - so there's no telling what name would have been used.) He was married to Rebecca Rooks and together they had Charles, William Taylor, Joseph, Sara Elizabeth, John, Nelson, Thomas, Rhoda (my gg-grandma), George Riley, Susannah, Emily & Harriet Angeline.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
