You can get her adoption records by writing a letter, stating your needs and sending it to the Juvenile Div., Polk Co. Courthouse, 5th and Mulberry, Des Moines, Iowa 50309. State the dates, adoption agency, new parents, everything that you know about the event. It will have to go to a Judge for approval to be released but it can be done.
There is a date, I believe it is in 1941, that records of adoptions before that date can be released.
