my father is named david arthur bunch and born in valley junction, iowa on sept.29, 1925. We believe his great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee (american indian). I need to trace his ancestry to verify this thru birth certificates. I am trying to determine if he is eligible for membership in a Cherokee tribe, and whether he would be eligible for any financial benefits because of this, and where I might go to establish these benefits.
