Looking for any information about the Williams family living Polk County Des Moines area from 1850 - 1880............. I have Hugh b OH 1832(wondering if OH County, KY) and Isabella with children Albert, Alice and Frank Melvin on the 1860 census............According to the 1880 census Hugh's parents were b IL..probably had an uncle William L b 1816 OH(wife Priscilla); John, James, Edward, Wesley also common names in this family..........anybody heard of this family?
