Lewis Johnson appeared on Iowa State Census of 1885 with daughter Lavina and son, Carl. He lived in Rising Sun.

Family rumor says he died in 1885 in Iowa.

Is there an obituary about his death?

His wife, Anna is supposed to have died in 1883. Anything about her death.

The four children, Lavina, Henry O. Jesse and Carl were left orphans when Lewis died in 1885.
