Larry Thiel, 73, of West Des Moines, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in West Des Moines.

Larry is survived by his wife, Beverly, four children; Carol Stephens, Lisa Grell, Larry Jr., and Michelle Taylor, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, August 21, with Rosary at 5, in the chapel, at Ankeny Memorial Gardens (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd.)
