Died of lung cancer at Mercy Medical. Services at Southtown Funeral Home, followed by cremation.

He worked for the U.S. Postal Service Bulk Mail Service in Des Moines. He was a member of the Central Iowa Blues Society. He enjoyed NHRA drag racing and rodeos.

Survived by a daughter, Rebecca Rojohn of Des Moines; his mother and stepfather, Jean and Sam Rhodes of Newton; his father and stepmother, Darrell and Sue Rojohn, Sr., of Grinnell; six sisters, Lynette Webster and Andrea Rojohn, both of West Des Moines, Ann Knaack of Grinnell, Sans Samrripa of Pueblo, Colorado, Elizabeth Nagler of Lannon, Wisconsin, and Liz Rojohn of Texas; two brothers, Darrell Jr., of Grinnell, and Jake of West Des Moines; two stepbrothers; and his grandmothers, Inez Rojohn of Newton, and Evelyn Farmsworth of Iowa City.
