Note: Her first name is Barbara and her maiden name is Holch. Though it doesn't mention it she was preceded in death by a son Herman in 1890 and his is buried in Hillside Cemetery, Merrill Plymouth County, Iowa where her and her husband are buried.

Mrs. David Eberhard, of Merrill, died at her home in Merrill after an illness of some weeks from kidney and liver trouble. She was 68 years of age and was one of the early settlers in Plymouth county coming here in 1868.

She leaves a husband and six children, “two sons and two daughters, who reside in this county and two daughters live in California.

She was highly respected and had a wide acquaintance among the older settlers.

The funeral will be held at Merrill on Wednesday.

Obituary

Mrs. David Eberhard, of Merrill, died at her home in Merrill after an illness of some weeks from kidney and liver trouble. She was sixtyi-eight years of age and was one of the early settlers in Plymouth county, coming here in 1869.

She leaves a husband and six children, two sons and two daughters, who reside in this county and two daughters lived in California.

She was highly respected and had a wide acquaintance among the older settlers.

The funeral was held at Merrill on Wednesday. Beely & Fissel were the undertakers.
