Ferne B. Larson

Ferne B. Larson, 70, died suddenly Sunday March 21, 1993, at her home.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Christy Morningside Funeral Home with larry D. Lane, minister of Morningside Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Westfork Township Cemetery at Climbing Hill, Iowa. Visitation will be 9 a.m.

Mrs. Larson, the former Ferne Kaelke, was born June 23, 1922, in Le Mars, Iowa. She graduated from Le Mars High School and moved to Sioux City in 1940. She married Raymond L. Larson Dec. 12, 1942, in Dakota City. She worked at Wincharger Corp. and Zenith Corp. and retired in 1988. She recently was working in the office at Gateway 2000.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Loren and his wife, Cindy Larson of Sioux City; two daughters and their husbands, Gloria and Danny Roling of Sioux City and Carolyn and Hugo Jobst of Apache Junction, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Esther Kaelke of Glendale, Ariz., and Leona Fear of Stanwood, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Elna Huddle; and two brothers, Newton and Wallace Kaelke.
