Mrs. Robert Meyer Dies at Hospital, Services Wednesday

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Robert Meyer Jr.[Emily Schuknecht] who died at Primghar Memorial Hospital early Saturday morning at the age of 67. Death had come suddenly following a stroke. She had become critically ill and was taken to the hospital on the previous Monday Prior to that she had been in comparatively good health.

The deceased is survived by her husband, a daughter, Ruby, (Mrs. Bentley Puhrmann) and a son, Vernelle, five grandchildren and a great grandson. One son, Edwin, lost his life in World War II.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Gaudian Funeral Home at 1:30 and at Zion Lutheran church at 2:00. The Rev. Paul Sohn officiated.

Pallbearers were- Ed Miller, Erwin Wittrock, Ed Hardies, Sylvan Schuknecht, Roy Schuknecht and Eldred Schuknecht.

Mrs. Eugene Schuknecht sang "I Am but a Stranger Here," and "Be Still My Soul", accompanied by Mrs. Marvin Fintel.
