SERVICES HELD FOR HERMAN SLINGER
Herman Slinger, 76, of Primghar died on March 30, 1985 at his residence of an apparent heart
attack.
Services were held Wednesday, April 3 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Primghar with
the Rev . Ronald Reicks officiating.
Interment was at the Calvary Cemetery under the direction of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home of Primghar.
Mr. Slinger was born January 12. 1909 near
Granville. He farmed in the Primghar area and also operated a corn shelter with his brother for 15 years. He was then employed as a
bartender at Toot's Tap in Primghar. He retired in 1975.
Mr. Slinger was a member of St. Anthony's
Catholic Church.
Survivors include two brothers. Edward and Henry, both of Hartley: and five sisters. Sister Serena Slinger of Dubuque. Helen Glaser. Margaret Krumm and Martha Jipp, all of Hartley, and Marcella Jacobs of Concord. North
Carolina.
