Services held for Mary Lou Guetschow

Private family graveside services were held October 17 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Primghar for 75 year old Mary Lou Guetschow who died at her residence in Primghar, Monday, Oct 7, 2002.

Mary Lou was born in Sutherland, Iowa, August 20, 1927 to George and Edith (Triplett) Aldred. She attended school in Primghar and graduated in 1945 She spent several years in California working in a department store She later moved back to Primghar and worked as a Nurse's Aide at the hospital and the O'Brien County Home until her retirement.

She had two daughters, Mary Jean Martens of Maple Lake Minnesota and Cynthia Mae and her husband. Merlyn Wegter of Bear, Delaware

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Ken Chesley of Idaho and Harold Chesley of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, and a sister, Velma Bets of New Ulm, Minnesota.

She is survived by her two daughters: grandsons Josh Bjork and Charlie Bjork, sisters Dorothy Chambers of Primghar, Mildred Nestor of Marcus, Iowa and Shirley Kraft of Spencer, Iowa, and a brother, Ronald Aldred of Primghar

Attending the services were Cindy and Merlyn Wegter of Bear, Delaware. Dorothy Chambers and Ron Aldred of Primghar, Mildred and Don Nestor of Marcus, Iowa, Shirley Kraft of Spencer, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Nelson of Primghar and Rhonda Steffens of Spencer.

Arrangements were with Sanborn Funeral Home.
